I have worked with various Industrial houses in India and abroad and have expertise in processed food and its plant and machinery.

I visited a numerologist in 2003 regarding an illness and was very impressed with her predictions.

What is Numerology

Numerology is the ancient study of numbers. The word 'Numerology' was created from the Latin word ‘numerus' (number) and the Greek word -‘logia', from ‘logos' (meaning word, thought, and expression).

Each letter of the alphabet has a numerical value, and each number has a related cosmic vibration. Combining the letters in your name and the date on which you were born provides an interrelation of vibrations. This unique and personal combination allows insight as in your character tendencies, strengths and weaknesses, natural talents, motivations, and life purpose as an integral part of the cosmic plan. Numerology is one of many tools used to gain insight and understanding into one's Self and others.

There are six main core numbers in numerology. These are Life Path, Destiny or Expression number, Heart Desire, Personality numbers, day of Birth and Maturity number.

Types of Numerology

There are a variety of different types of numerology systems available for study. The Chaldean, the Pythagorean (Western), and the Kabbalah are the most popular numerological systems in use today. Each of these systems calculates numbers differently and offers different interpretation of one's life.

1:- The Kabbalah originated in Hebrew mysticism, and interprets only the meaning of the name. The Kabbalah was developed for the Hebrew alphabet, and therefore has only 22 vibrations ranging from 1 to 400. It was adapted for the Greek alphabet, then further adapted for the Roman alphabet.

2:- Abracadabra is a less frequently used form of numerological interpretation. It is based on the subject's name, and uses a series of triangles to arrive at numerical values that provide information about character and events.

3:- New Kabbalah has also been developed for use with the modern Roman alphabet. It, too, is based on name, and relies on Pythagorean methods to determine time periods. The New Kabbalah is concerned more with events than character.

History of Numerology

The roots of numerology date back thousands of years, and variations of it can be found in most cultures throughout history. While many people dismiss it as a pseudoscience, it has been taught and studied by some of the most respected mathematicians throughout history.

It's generally accepted that the ancient cultures of China, Japan, India, Babylon, and Egypt were familiar with numerology long before the Greeks and Romans began using it, but most books still credit Pythagoras as being the 'father of numerology.'

Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician and philosopher (569-470 B.C.), believed that reality is mathematical. He viewed the entire universe as being composed of mathematical patterns and was adamant that all things can be expressed in numbers that correspond to energy patterns of vibrations.

Facts of numerology as I perceive these to be

Numerology is a science of predictions based on the number vibrations

Every number from 1 to 9 and their combinations effects the human behavior

The alphabets have also the vibrations effecting the human behavior and each alphabet has numerical value from 1 to 9

The study of numerology is based on the date of birth of a person and the name given at the time of birth.

The date of birth can not be changed by any one on this earth. The vibes of each number and their combinations in the date of birth therefore can not also be changed. God has defined the basic talents of the persons born on this earth depending upon the date they were born.

Is it true that all the persons born on that particular day have the same life pattern in life? NO.

It is believed that the vibrations of the name of the person have a very major effect on the life path and it differs from person to person because of vibes in their different names.

The vibrations of the name alphabets may help the life path. It may also deviate a person from its path,.

The name is given by the people around that person and if name not found suitable numerologically, the same can also be changed.

Numerology therefore differs from the way astrology is.

No number in numerology is lucky or unlucky. Every number has its own positive traits and negative traits. If the vibes of some number do not match the vibes of other number concerned, then the compatibility is affected which can be corrected and made compatible by changing the name. Numerology can also give lucky house numbers, car numbers specific to the person owning the house or the car.

Unfavorable effects of numbers can be corrected by compatible numbers.

Numerology is a science of predicting human behavior in the present and in the future by study of the numbers in date of birth and the name.

It tells a person of his positive and warn against the negative which acts as warning. These negative traits can be negated by shear will of the person.

Every positive trait has negative traits. For example no 4 is very hard worker and is always for perfection. This positive quality can lead to overstressed person leading to nervous tension which is negative.
