As the word suggests that the numerological compatibility is the comparison of the similarity and the dissimilarity of the habits, nature, talents dressing style, food habits, likes and dislikes etc of the two persons by using the numerological interpretation of numbers in their core key concepts. Some numbers may blend together easily and other numbers may not.Hundred percent matching is very rarely seen. Here are no absolutes or ideals that you should be seekng.
It is not necessary the two same numbers are compatible. Similar vibrations found in two individuals may be detrimental for long term happiness in relations. It is your life's purpose, spiritual mission, and your field of opportunity.  Unlike the Life Path number which reads as you are, the Destiny number more correctly reads as you MUST or what you can aspire to become.
To arrive at your Destiny number, take first name, middle name and the last name separately and add up the letter values using the conversion chart below. Reduce each name to a single digit. Then add the results of all of the names to arrive at a total which you then once again reduce to a single digit.
Don't use nicknames, assumed name, deviations in spelling used, or omit any part of the birth name. Use it as it appears on the birth certificate. Don't worry about changes to the name (married name, etc.), just stay with complete birth name. Don't count Jr. Sr., III, etc. following the name.
Here is how to turn letters in the full name to a Destiny Number:

Example of Destiny Number: Padam Prakash Jain: -
First name:-     Padam equals 17/8,
Second name; -Prakash equals 29/11
Last name:-     Jain equals 16/7.
The Destiny number therefore is 8+11+7=26/8.
Do not reduce master number to single digit.
 

Heart Desire/Soul number
The Soul Urge or as it is sometimes called, the heart's desire, is an important core influence in numerology. It is your inner cravings, likes and dislikes. This number denotes what you value most regardless of Life Path (what you are from birth) and expression (what you will become in life). Satisfying the demands of the Soul Urge will give you a sense of inner peace and contentment.
This number is made up from the vowels (a, e, i, o and u) in your full birth name just as it is recorded on your birth certificate. The sum of these entire letter, converted to numbers, and reduced to a single number or a master number is your Soul Urge.

Heart Desiree/soul number of Padam Prakash Jain is 2=2+1=5
 

Personality number
Your personality number describes how you have shaped your self-expression so that you can survive and thrive in society. To derive your personality number, take your birth name and reduce it down to all of its consonants.
For the purposes of an example, let's use the name Padam Prakash Jain, and reduce it to consonants.
Using the chart below you would then find the numerical equivalents of all of these letters and add them all together.

Essence Numbers
An additional cycle used in numerology is associated with the name. This timing method uses the letters in the name are called transits of the name.
